Off The Radar
Off The Radar was an event to support underground Hip-Hop music to tha fullest. It was held at the Annex Wreck Room in Toronto, ON; thanks to the efforts of Toronto Independent
Music Awards and Flavashop Inc. The host of the night was The Kid Famous and featured some of the hardest working artists from the GTA.
Walking up to the building there was an essence of excitement and anticipation to see Toronto’s up and coming perform live. There were people outside and inside, and by the middle
of the night the Annex Wreck Room was full of supporters. People were taking pictures, getting their drank on, and just having a great time.
Some of the night’s highlights were: Angerville performing their “Dear Dad” track which is on “High Rotation” on Muchvibe. The Human Record who beat boxed with a wazoo in his nose,
and made the crowd go wild with his talents. Doughla City was also there to perform- the group showed high energy and pulled out the “A Millie” instrumental and kept up wit the tempo. A female
artist by the name of Michelle Mondesir aka Muze performed her song “Where Are You”, which has been nominated for Best Urban Song.
There were many more performances that night. To see and hear more of Toronto’s Hip-Hop talent go to the 4th Annual, Toronto Independent Music Awards night @ The Pheonix Concert
Theatre on July 31, 08. Peace.
