It was a big movement… 4th annual, Stop The Violence, brought to you by: Random Act, JB GCP and many other important sponsors!!! The flemo basketball courts were filled with people
by show time. There were performances by many well known artists aka Toronto’s Finest: Mayhem, Dru, Donmillion, Blacus Ninjah, Hakeem, Trinity Chris, Kim Davis, Tommy Spitz, Radom Act, JB GCP and
many more. Hosting the event was: Jus Red from The New Flow Radio 93.5. There was a guest appearance by Keesha Brown, a Jamaican comedian.
Trinity Chris was on stage with high energy and a unique style, Donmillion played their track represent your set, the beautiful Kim Davis sang her heart out, Hakeem stole your girl’s
attention for few minutes. Tommy Spitz, Random Act, and JB GCP came on last to end the show off, with excitement, and their one of a kind hood music. A good selection of artists from different
places and genres came out to participate in a common goal.
During the afternoon there were kid’s activities, face painting, and a basketball tournament with youth from all over Ontario. The 5 kids I had with me all had fun in the bouncy
tent, playing the gladiator game, and receiving give a ways from the people they look up to. I have a feeling that next year will be bigger, so make sure you come out for Stop the
Violence, 2009.
