2nd Annual, Blits Block Inferno

“Unity Community together forever” (promo flyer)

A hood BBQ held in Parma Courts, the day was hot and the MC line up was crazy! The BBQ was held to honor a fallen soldier: Blitz a former member of Hoodgang (Music Group) from Parma Courts. The scenery was an open field surrounded by buildings, and the music could be herd from Sak’s (a local Store).

The stage was blessed by many many talented men and women, some who were also seen at the “Stop The Violence BBQ” held in Flemo Park on July 26, 08. Ladies first; Keke Luv is a beautiful young MC who really did sum sweet accapella on stage with Black City and Cardigan Gang. Another female artist was Empress Lyrics who is an up ‘n coming reggae singer who wants to empower women with her music. Continuing on, highly respected Jah Family from the West end of Toronto was there to pass on wise words to the kids with their Rasta style music.Trinity Chris and Tre Nice brought intensity to the stage, Trinity performed: “Bun A Tight Pants”. Donmillion</B> was there to perform “Represent Your Set”; an underground hit. JB GCP, Tommy Spitz and RANDOM ACT came on stage and did one of their CLASSIC tracks “What You Need”. Hoodgang performed through out the day, and also stopped for moment of silence for Blits.

Free food/drinks, a gladiator game, face painting, and the bouncy tent to show the kids of Parma and their guests that they have respect for their community. It was a full day event which featured Toronto’s Finest Artists, and had an action packed dance show, performed by the talented Baby Boy Dance Crew.
