Messages: Positive message for girls/ women, exerting strength, friendships, fun in: dance, music, and language. 

Overview: 

Susan is a young lady who becomes a super monster; she was given the mission to stop the bad aliens from destroying the city of San Francisco, along with 4 other monsters that become her friends. Susan or “Ginormica” (her monster name) shows strength in the movie by fighting bad guys, adapting to new circumstances, showing confidence, and becoming independent. It has some inside jokes for parents and a lot of silly words and actions for kids. The theater was full of laughter during the movie. The monsters are more on the goofy side than actual fighting pro’s or scary beings (the funny part).
