EMINEM- The Man Of The Hour

EMINEM has released a new album called Relapse (2009) and has not let us down in showing his bold and extreme ways of expression. He has a way of creating a picture of his lyrics/ feelings and has the confidence to bring ideas that push peoples comfort zones. This has not guided him wrong regarding his success the Hip Hop industry. Weather you love it, or hate it, you heard about it! Possibly making him the man of the hour.

Since EMINEM’s fan hype over of the “Crake a Bottle” track, every time I turn around another one of his tracks is the talk of the town. There is “3am In The Morning"- INSANE, “Beautiful”- INSPIRERING, and “We Made You”- EGOTISTIC. Although what triggered this column is his release of “The Warning” from EMINEM- a response to Mariah Carey’s song and music video “Obsessed”.

EMINEM has been known for his negative lyrics about those close to him so one shouldn’t be shocked at “The Warning” if you think about it. Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed” was good but possibly full of lies! Lies that would most likely make anyone upset and EMINEM went straight to the studio to retaliate. Results: “The Warning” an “honestly” thorough came back, and in my opinion crushed “Obsessed” by adding Mariah’s voice at the end the track exposing her “lies”. We will see how it all works out in the end- ‘cause you never know...

Don’t get me wrong I like Mariah Carey’s music and wish her the best in her career but she may have been asking for “trouble”. On the same note EM’ got pretty upset at the guy with the goatee in Mariah’s video mean while he makes “fun” of all kinds of celebrities in his videos (“We Made You”). Regardless, from fan response EMINEM is on a steady pace of success with his new album Relapse.
