Today is the official start to Toronto's Caribana AKA Toronto Caribbean Carnival (Parade), which is the largest North American Carnival celebrating the West Indies; Aug. 1, 2015 the whole city wants to get up, and JUMP. You can experience Caribbean food, enjoy Soca music along with Calypso, steel drums, dance on the street, and see the colorful costumes. With a friendly environment Toronto residents enjoyed the sun with travelers who came to the city for the three day Caribana extravaganza that has been held here every year since 1967. Two ways to participate in the parade: one could watch or participate in the parade at the of cost $20 at the Exhibition Place entrance, or watch, shop, dance, eat for free along Lakeshore Boulevard.
