Alessia Cara from #Brampton

19 year old Alessia Cara is from Brampton, Ontario and has recently released her first EP #FourPinkWalls, and music video for her first major song “Here”. She has a passion for music, and rightfully so as she has taken the world by surprise at the first listen of her voice, and uncanny honesty.   Some of the most interesting aspects about her are that even though she is now a signed artist she has decided to keep her original image. Alessia Cara wrote, directed, and produced most her music videos such as “I’m Yours” and “Four Pink Walls” with a GoPro Camera.  Keeping her style raw as it was when she was first noticed by members of the music industry; a talented girl on YouTube doing covers of other popular songs. On Sept. 17, 2015 Alessia Cara was awarded Streamy’s “Best Original Song” for “Here”. Destined to shine and rise to the top she told HOT 97 FM earlier this month, her album “Know it All” is scheduled for release “late fall”.
