Self Conshus Releases “Rabbit Seazon” EP #Maryland

Self Conshus a long time indie smooth Hip-Hop Rapper from Maryland, United States; whom, I wrote about in 2015... Since then, Self Conshus started working on an EP titled “Rabbit Seazon”! The EP "Rabbit Seazon" was released Jan. 19, 2016 on BandCamp click here to listen or download for FREE.

 

During the time period Self Conshus worked on the EP he seemed to struggle with the creative process in hopes to produce his best work to date; this was indicated by his tweets saying that he was “stressed’ out for instance. Shortly after his “stress” he released a video for “Necessary” on the Self Conshus Facebook Page, and it received positive feedback (44k views) building excitement around the EP’s release.

 

One of the things you get from Self Conshus ‘right of the bat’ is his realness, and sincerity. The “Rabbit Seazon” just certified this asset of his by letting people know him personally. The EP is comprised of five tracks, listed below in order:

Self Conshus takes his listeners on a journey of his intrinsic life, and thoughts. Within he talks about his struggle with himself and making music, to becoming confident in his abilities, mentions past depression and contemplating suicide, and love vs. lust. He has an intro of himself speaking, raw material such as him coughing during one of the tracks, an example of another person’s discouragement, and an amusing phone message from a female.

 

All that “stress” to produce this project was well worth it! I rate this EP through and through. If I had to pick my fav tracks it would be #2 Produced By: Corey Laury, and #5.
