Michigan Alternative Rock Band: #HOUR24

HOUR 24 is an Alternative Rock band from Michigan with five members; the bands lead singer is a female by the name of Rachel Mayer, Dan Quigley on the Guitar, Cody Sizemore plays Guitar too plus does Backing vocals, Chris Salazar position is Bass guitar, and Mike Neumenn on the Drums!! HOUR 24 has been hard at work doing what they love making music that… Rachel Mayer in short says that the band wants to: ‘Truly makes a difference in the world, which focuses on the positive aspects of life’. Their newest release is the EP “Emergence” (April 19, 2016) which can be purchased on iTunes. The EP consists of six songs; the track list is as follows:

The lead record of the “Emergence” EP is track number 2 also titled “Emergence”, and on April 5, 2016 ahead of the EP’s release; HOUR 24 dropped the official music video for “Emergence”. The music video is about a great relationship that became troubled, and the realization that it may be better to let go, and move on rather than stay. Rachel sings: “one more time there’s so much yet to learn, one more time there’s so much left behind, I’ve got to let go, yea e yea, I’ve got to let go, I’ve got to let go, oh oh no….broken hearts take time to mend, changes of the battle we couldn’t win, holding on holding on, I’m holding on”… Rachel’s lyrics come across very powerful especially when Cody Sizemore kicks in screams “I’m Holding, on I’m holding on” at one point during the song! The visuals mostly show the band members rockin’ out individually; giving each band member a spotlight in the video. Watch the video below:
