Caesar Sant, 7 Yr Old Classical Violin Player & His Wishes #TheEllenShow
By: Lyndsay Brown
Updated: June 3, 2016
Little Caesar Sant is the youngest - violin prodigy - artist to be featured on the HOOKEDUPB MAG website; Caesar Sant is seven years old, and is very talented in his abilities to play the violin. Caesar’s family noticed that Caesar had a love for Classical music when he was just 22 months old; Caesar started playing the violin when he was two years of age, and started doing performances at the age four!! Now Caesar plays Classical music such as Bach!!
I first became aware of Caesar Sant a year or so ago, after watching a Documentary on National Geographic YouTube Channel titled: “Child Prodigy, a Painful Disease, and Life Changing Treatment”. I was extremely impressed by Caesar’s talent, plus a rather unforgettable story of strength and endurance. The information I gathered from the National Geographic Documentary was inspiring. Caesar was diagnosed with Sickle-Cell Anemia when he was born; in short this means it causes Caesar to endure great pain, and even strokes. Caesar has had strokes; at age five Caesar was left paralyzed by a stroke, and had to learn how to walk, and play the violin all over again.
Caesar loves Classical music, and playing the violin. Caesar at his young age wants to play the violin “very good”, not“okay” as he stated in the National Geographic Documentary during his rehabilitation! Caesar has a professional violin teacher, practices often, and continues to perform in front of crowds. Caesar is truly amazing at both playing the violin, and fighting his Sickle-Cell Anemia. During his time receiving help from his communities he has made some ‘wishes’: one wish with the Make-A-Wish America Foundation, is to meet Mr. Itzhak Perlman to whom Caesar will perform a small piece on May 18th; Mr. Itzhak Perlman plays in the California Orchestra. Another wish of Caesar’s is to meet, and be on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
They say: “ask and you shall receive”; great news Caesar Sant has been granted his wish to meet Mr. Itzhak Perlman May 18, 2016. Caesar’s father Lucas Sant tells me Caesar is thrilled about his wish coming true, and getting to meet Mr. Itzhak Perlman next week; watch the grand announcement video below:
